BIG weekend 16 July 11
Loads going off this weekend for Team DBS. Its BMX national Series round 7and8 in Redditch and NPS4X rd4 and the national Championships at Harthill, Cheshire. Plus its Antonias leaving ball before she emigrates to Australia next week. Exciting and emotional times allround.
Redditch is a new a revived venue that promises fast racing and event filled weekend. DBS 11-12 girl Leeshy Phillips is up for it stating Just watch Im making boh As this weeknd. The rest of the team will be pushing hard for those world champs qualifying points.

My prediction for the weeknd Ben Clarkson last to first in junior men A final.
Up the road a bit to manchester and its big wheels and gears for the british national 4X championships.
Harthill hosted a Euro round last year. Preview LINK

The track is fast and down hill and work has been done to make the pro section more testing and fast.

The biggest prize in domestic cycling, the British Championships affords the winner the right to wear a red, white and blue jersey worldwide for a year and in 2011 the fourcross mountain bike competition takes place on July 17 in Harthill, Cheshire.
The importance of the event is further increased, with selections for the 2011 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships revealed the week after the event.
MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
Scott Beaumont is expected to face his toughest competition for the title in recent years. Scott Roberts and Will Evans have proved themselves on the 2011 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup fourcross circuit, both recording top ten results.
However, the unpredictability of the event, matched by the critical second turn at Harthill, will make for a tough race to call.
WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
Katy Curd will start favourite to retain her title of British Champion, but Joey Gough could provide an upset following an impressive performance at the Fort William World Cup. British Fourcross Series regulars Suzanne Lacy and Nichola Anderson are also marked as riders likely to be in the mix as the gate drops on the final.
Gareth had his bike stolen this week so will be pulling Pazzs kawasaki green dialled out of retirement for the big event.
My prediction if he can stay off his wild pony then Will EvansWild horse at Hart Hill from Chris Cumming on Vimeo.
