Jared Graves is back on the bmx as part of his winter training and is spending January in the US competing in the first two ABA nationals of the year. The season kicked off this weekend with a double header in Reno. The Elite men/AA Pro had a big field with 32 riders in total and Graves managed to make the main both days.
In the saturday main Graves was a little unlucky after a great first straight he went into the first turn in third but was always going to get pushed wide coming from gate 7. He then had to slow slightly to avoid a few fallers when Arturs Matisons slid out and took Kyle Bennett and Cristian Becerine down, leaving him in third behind Bubba Harris and Donny Robinson.
Saturday Final
The sunday final was more straight forward with Graves coming in second to Kyle Bennett with Donny Robinson in third.
Sunday Final

Sunday Results

Still waiting for the points to be posted but looking at the results it must be close between Graves and Robinson for the lead in the overall. The next round is in Guthrie January 23rd/24th.
