This story appeared on Cycling News over the xmas period and again it's financial problems threatening the event. We've already seen the Euro 4x champs cancelled for the same reason, and there were rumours that the final round of the world cup in Windham, USA wouldn't be happening although it seems to be back on now.
Houffalize turned out to be a real fans favourite last year, held under lights and in front of a huge and noisy crowd, the track provided plenty of overtaking opportunities and action. Although some of the riders weren't so keen, Graves in particular was very vocal about some of the corners which in his opinion allowed the lesser riders a chance at take out moves. I suppose when you consider Rafa Alvarez, Guido Tschugg, Filip Polc, Gracia, Boom Boom and PCJ all went out in the first round he may have had a point but it did make for exciting racing!

Check out Dan Atherton's move on Fischbach!!
Still awaiting confirmation on this, but it'd be a real shame to lose this event.
