Winter Moto

It's long been the case that many top downhiller's and 4x riders enjoy a spot of motocross during the off season. I'm not sure how transferable the skills are, but moto is very physically demanding and I guess if you can throw an mx bike round a track for half an hour then getting back on the dh bike must feel like nothing.

Here's a short video of Sam Hill getting some practice in for the upcoming Troy Lee Designs A Day in the Dirt. This is a charity event now in it's 12th year that brings together athletes from many areas of extreme sports for three days of mx races.

He looks pretty handy too!
