Riders Down

Big weekend for riding last weekend. The first round of the BMX national series at Burnham and Mount HawksEaster jam. We should have words and pictures from both later in the week. Bad news from both event is the injuries to Ben Clarkson and Digger Wetherelt.
Both riders had crashes after having a good weekend. Ben had a 1st and 4th on the first day at Burnham and Digger had been pulling flairs at Hawk. In a bizaar coincidence they are now both in treliske hospital with internal bleeding and rutured spleens. The good news is that they are not going to have them removed and after a couple of days are out of the high dependency ward. Latest news is they will be home for the weekend.
