Toby Henderson Interview

Rich Moore of Snap Distribution was in states recently and caught some words with cycling legend and business and design inovator Toby Henderson.

For those that don't know, what's your background in BMX/MTB?

Multi National and a world championship in BMX. US National team member 5 times and downhill mania champion for MTB

How long has THE Industries/Intense BMX being running now?

THE is 8 years old now but I started Intense BMX 2.5 years ago.

Is everything going as planned?

Nothing goes as planned. I have had some hiccups along the way but right now things are going fantastically.

You seem to have new products coming out every week, do you design everything yourself?
I have the vision for all the products but have help from engineers and graphic artists. I design from my heart and so far I am 60% right :)

Are you still riding yourself?

Testing mostly or riding at the beach with my kids.

Thanks for the interview, will you be visiting any events in the UK next season?

I like to come over for your bigger shows but no plans as of yet. I am a fan of the UK though and very fond of visiting there.
