New Intense Podium BMX Frame

Rich Moore of the UK Intense BMX and THE Industries importers, Snap Distribution has just returned from the states on visit the VSIs head office. Whilst there Rich met with VSI main man and the TH in THE Toby Henderson and we will post Richs interview with The BMX and MTB legend soon.

Rich also got to see the new Intense Podium BMX frame.

Technically this frame is cutting edge the top and down tubes are hydro formed into their distinctive shape. The downtube is triple butted leaving metal where it is needed and having less in the middle, retraining strength but reducing weight. Even the chainstays and seat stays are double and triple butted. Each tube adds to the ride of this frame, making it an outstanding example of the art of frame building. Up front is an intergrated headset that should come with the frame.

The attention to detail and lateral thinking continues with the finish. The Podium comes in Soft Touch Matte Black or Matte silver. This is used in THE Helmets for late 2007 and is described as a ruberised finish ,so it should keep its good looks.

Intense have learnt their geometry lesson on the award winning Sabot and have used this in developing the Podium. The Podium will be available in four 20in pro sizes and two cruiser. This frame is an oustanding example of art and technology.
